These terms govern your use of Gathered Edition ("we", "us"), operated from Canada. By creating an account or buying content you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since we use it to sign you in. You must be able to form a binding contract to purchase.
We sell individual chapters and whole books as digital editions, compiled into PDF and EPUB files. A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the content you bought. Each edition is watermarked with your account identity.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly post, or share your editions, or remove the watermark. The content remains our (or our authors') intellectual property.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Store credit accrued from chapter purchases applies only toward the corresponding book and has no cash value.

Don't abuse the service, attempt to break its security, scrape it, or use it to infringe others' rights.
The service and content are provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means acceptance.
